odaiba
often thought of as "future world" in tokyo, odaiba has an interesting history.

[ these pictures are from the panasonic electrontics place, they have many different electronics you can try out. i think panasonic makes the disc drive technology for nintendo gamecube ]

[ just outside the biggest 100 yen store ive seen in tokyo, it was great. lot of cheap but good stuff ]
[ we ate at this food court inside the mall, this is fast chinese food place ]
[ i had chikyanman, chicken in a bread pocket thing, and this shark's fin soup. it was actually really good ]
[ mini chopsticks given to me to eat my shark's fin soup ]
[ this is some crazy building we found, it was like part outdoor sculpture part building. whatever it was it was closed. we think it might be a small museum or something ]
[ this bridge went over a waterway. it too was ulta futuristic looking ]

[ this is a small studio ghibli (miyazaki, spirited away, etc) store we found ]
[ this is tv fuji's headquarters, it's a really crazy building with a big ball in the middle ]
[ a sega amusment park, mike and i might go if we have time ]
